STAR TREK; TNG “DEVOLVED-NEANDERTHAL RIKER UNIFORM” FROM “GENESIS”

A costume featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Genesis”; wherein “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart) and “Lt. Commander Data” (Brent Spiner) return to find the “Enterprise-D” adrift and that the crew have devolved into primitive creatures. This costume is for wear by Jonathan Frakes after he has devolved to the neanderthaloid “Commander William Riker” and is a Starfleet uniform jacket featuring Command Red division strip along the chest, sleeves and back; further red piping around the collar, a Velcro patch on the left breast for a commbadge (not included), a zip down the back, and matching black trousers with stirrups for the feet. The costume is significantly distressed to emulate “Commander Riker's” devolution with the entire left shoulder torn open, extra padding added, and various rips and general distress. A sewn in tag reads ‘Star Trek: TNG, J. Frakes’ and the costumer’s tag reads ‘271 Genesis, Riker, Jonathan Frakes’.
