STAR TREK: TNG “ENSIGN MARTA BATANIDES” FROM TAPESTRY

A costume featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Tapestry” for wear by “Ensign Marta Batanides” (J. C. Brandy), one of “Captain Picard's” (Patrick Stewart) best friends upon graduation from Starfleet Academy. The costume is a set of black trousers with a grey division strip running down the outside seam of both legs with a sewn in TNG tag reading ‘J.C. Brandy’, a grey colored sleeveless undershirt with a ribbed collar of the style appearing in the episode, and a maroon class-A officer’s jacket with black piping, a tan inner breast, silver colored metal chain accents affixed between the double breast snaps, an affixed gray division strip around the left sleeve, an affixed shoulder mounted gray division strip, and a sewn in Western Costume Co. tag reading ‘Carol Bennet’. The costume comes with an unattached silver colored plastic ‘security disk’ for placement on the back of the shoulder mounted division strip, an unattached red placement with an affixed silver and gold colored metal badge indicating the wearer to be an ‘ensign’ and a second matching unattached ‘ensign’ rank badge.
