STAR TREK: DS9 “CHIEF O'BRIEN – DISTRESSED STARFLEET UNIFORM”

A costume featured in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine for wear by Colm Meaney in his portrayal of “Chief O'Brien”. The costume is a distressed black Starfleet uniform jumpsuit with a form fitting elastic waist, ‘away team’ gear loops sewn into the waist, quilted gray shoulders, a Velcro placement for a Starfleet combadge (sold separately), and operations gold division strips around the cuffs. The costume also comes with an operations gold uniform undershirt featuring embroidery on the right of the collar indicating the wearer to be a ‘chief petty officer’. The costume is distressed in that it features a significant right shoulder wound with visible thrashing on the jumpsuit with dried special effects goop which carries into the undershirt where the distress is dried special effects ‘blood’ but no damage to the actual garment. The sewn in Deep Space Nine tag on the undershirt reads ‘Colm’, while the one in the jumpsuit reads ‘Colm, 98-99’. The costumer’s tags read ‘DS9 O’Brien, Colm Meaney, distressed, phaser burn’ or ‘wound in shoulder #749’.
