A costume featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “The Search: Part II”; wherein the crew of the “Defiant” are being subjected to a simulated reality by the Dominion in an attempt to ascertain the difficulty of any inroads into the Alpha Quadrant would be. This costumes is for wear by Dennis Christopher in the role of the Vorta that is conducting the experiment on the “Defiant” crew, “Borath”, and is a long-sleeved, tunic featuring multi-colored vertical stripes almost resembling the grains on a hardwood floor, and horizontal pleating along the collar, rust-colored trousers with a floral pattern and stirrups for the feet; a short-sleeved olive-toned jacket featuring brown, faux-suede along the collar, a multi-colored pattern similar to the trousers, a wrap-around front that buttons closed, and a leather belt in a purplish hue. Multiple sewn in tags denote use of the different costume aspects by different actors but all were found together; a costumer's tag reads ‘DS9 #448, Borath (Vorta), Dennis Christopher’.
