STAR TREK: ENT “ORION GUARD UNIFORM” FROM “BORDERLAND”

Record summary

A costume featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Borderland”; wherein the “Enterprise NX-01” needs the help of a convicted criminal, “Arik Soong” (Brent Spiner) to prevent a war with the Klingons being precipitated by the augmented humans from the Eugenics Wars. This costume is one of the Orion guards at the slave auction where “T’Pol” (Jolene Blalock) and several other crew members were to be sold; it consists of worn brown, leather trousers featuring darker-brown suede accents along the outsides of the legs, a built in codpiece and stirrups for the feet. A brown leather, half jacket in a faux reptile skin print, featuring “chainmail” sleeves, textured rubber shoulder armor, black, leather straps around the cuffs, an elaborate leather strap and metal ring accented harness that goes across the chest, and a black leather belt featuring braided, beaded, and intricate, textured metal accents. Included are a pair of leather, knee-high boots that have been mounted three-inch heels, several foam accents in the form of “bolts”, “spikes” and pieces of vinyl all meant to give the boots a more fearsome appearance. A sewn in tag reads ‘Enterprise, Scott Workman’ and the costumer’s tag reads ‘Enterprise #80 Broderland, Orion Guard, Scott Workman’.
