STAR TREK: DS9 “BAJORAN VEDEK COSTUME”

STAR TREK: DS9 “BAJORAN VEDEK COSTUME” A costume similar to those featured throughout the entire Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series. This costume is that of a Bajoran Vedek, part of the governing body of Bajoran religion and seemingly about the same as a Catholic cardinal; it consists of a sleeveless, full-length rust-colored robe, two matching, rust-colored, sashes featuring a multi-colored paisley pattern; a brown and black “double sash” with a floral pattern that criss-crosses across the back, and an intricate, four-ring metal accent that sits just below the collar. Three identical, overlapping hoods with brown lining that match the robe, and two brown, silk-like cowls. Sewn in tags denote use by various actors and costumer’s tag identify them merely as “Bajoran Monks”.
