A piece of set dressing featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “I, Borg”; wherein the “Enterprise-D” finds a Borg ship crashed and a single survivor cut off from the Collective that quickly starts to reassess his individuality. This item was part of the set dressing of the holding cell set up for the Borg drone who came to be called “Hugh” (Jonathan Del Arco); it consists of a blue/gray, plastic housing, a clear plastic dome with gold and copper-colored accents and a blinking red light that activates via a button the side, an orange and green light on the top and a red light on the front that activate with the other button. There are textured, black accents on the bottom, and four screws beneath the black, rubber feet that yield the working circuitry for the lights and are powered by two nine-volt batteries. The item measures approx. 4 X 3 X 2 inches.
